The Vegan Athletes for Peace Charity Bike Ride

Our good friend Neil Robinson, former Everton FC footballer, is about to set out on an epic bike ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats!

vegan athletes for peace logoNeil will be taking part with his Vegan Athletes for Peace team mates, Dean Howell and Tris West. Beginning at Land’s End tomorrow (26th June 2015) the near 900 mile journey will take them 9 days to complete. They aim is to raise funds for charities such as A Well Fed World, Viva, Animal Aid, Tree Aid and many more of whom you can see listed here.

Dean Robinson was the first ever vegan professional footballer and had many successful years at the top level playing for Everton FC. Dean Howell, a fellow vegan and professional footballer, is only the second ever vegan professional footballer. He setup and owns Revolution Foods, an online retailer providing organic foods, GMO free and free from pesticides and hebicides. Tris West is a keen cyclist and rock climber from Bristol. He also runs his own organic wholesaler business, Sunseed Organics. They import organic fruit and vegetables from across the world and have retail outlets in London and Bristol.
